Ceramic Sketchbook

These ceramic experiments were made as a part of the school project. I tried to explore materials, shapes, textures and develop character design. The main inspiration source was such subjects as  aboriginal art, circus personages and different nature forms. I tested different techniques while working with sculptures’ shape. In particular, I cut figures into pieces or glued them together, carved holes in them or added some details to their bodies and scratched out various textures.
