This project's site was located in the 19th arrondissement in Paris, France. The objective was to design a mixed-use housing development in this industrial region of the city that connects to the adjacent train tracks, which are no longer in use. Rather, the tracks are used as a pedestrian walkway, similar to the New York High Line. The gallery mezzanine of our site, which looks out onto the river, interacts with this railroad, connecting the public space to the city.
