MCAST recently introduced MCAST Skills Challenge. A live brief assignment was set out for the students to create the branding for MCAST Skills Challenge which consists of the logo and collaterals both for print and web. My identity got chosen and it will start to be implemented in the upcoming months for the first event. 

MCASTSKILLS logo consists of an icon accompanied by typography. The icon has 6 different coloured wave illustration forming into a ball. The six different colours represent the six different categories taking part in the competition. This logo’s icon was inspired from the weaving found in clothing. MCASTSKILLS is about working together as a team to produce a final outcome. This is portrayed in having multiple of threads creating a cloth or a pattern.
