Translation
In this drawing I used tracing paper, I enjoy the result of the color on the tracing paper, as opposed the second drawing.
I used china paeper. I do not like this one as much, I think it looks very dirty. In both drawings I was inspired by Tim Jeff.
Then I tried the same technique (with ink) however drawing a bird. I think this looks better, and represents better what I want to transmit.
I decided to separate this piece into two, representing a third culture kid. We spend our lives flying (the left bird) until one day we find our home and settle (the right bird).
To complete the two drawings I used ink. I felt this was most appropriate and wanted to take a challenge of using small detail on a “big scale”.
