leicester city had the largest and fastest ever digital growth of any football team in memory as part of their continued success in the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League season. to commemorate, milestone graphics were created. the team sits at 6,500,000 fans on Facebook as of 24 January 2017.
the day of the following season's fixtures being released often arrives long before a final graphical direction is established for the club's season. as such, an approximation is often the best hope. this design features elements that eventually became used in the following season's graphics, but most notably they typeface DIN (featured here) was swapped out for usage of Century Gothic as a way to align all departments and brand consistency.
this 'infographic' used to welcome Claudio Ranieri features design elements that would eventually play a role in the season's graphical templates.
a header image designed to sit atop the club's official youtube channel and relay information as to what you may find below.
one of a few designs submitted to Facebook as a 'Gameface' overlay— a temporary profile photo overlay that a team's fans can set to show off their allegiance.
as tribute to those lost in World War One, many football clubs pay their respects in a visible way. leicester city were the first club to feature poppies as a sign of remembrance on their shirts and in this vein, simple yet striking graphics were put together.
a roll of honour for those leicester city (at the time called leicester fosse) players that lost their lives during World War One.
