Magic FM
Magic FM is a project in Nottingham/UK in 2012. This MA project aims to identify, evaluate and launch a new brand image to Magic FM Radio in London. Costin tried not to fall down into a trap of stereotypes of symbols with ‘top hat’, ‘magic wand’ so and so forth and to come up with a clever concept that certainly can stand out from the crowd. The new Magic identity is simple and clever, vibrant and dynamic.
The repetition of the circular forms has a nice rhythm, everything is well balanced and use of shaped, overlap, curve and color really lends itself to illustrate how Magic’s people are connected, united and committed through the power of music. All the elements and colors are meant to leave the impression that Magic is an oasis of calm in a desert of noise, Magic is feel good, cool, and care-free brand.
