Orwell is a privacy invasion thriller in which the player investigates the lives of citizens to find those responsible for a series of terror attacks. Information from the internet, personal communications and private files are all accessible to the player. But are these people really terrorists? Are they really guilty? What is the real price for maintaining the security The Nation is yearning for?

Orwell is the first commercially released game that I developed together with my team from Osmotic Studios. It explores contemporary themes of security, privacy, and our interpretation of online information in a way that only a game can.

These are concepts from the first early version of Orwell that we worked on in 2015.
First concepts for Orwell in comparison to current art style. We later went for the low-poly style instead of the hand-drawn look.
