An animation is based on two brothers who live high in the mountains and graze cattle. Unfortunately, one day a snow leopard kills it and brothers want to catch that beast. During the hunting, one of the brothers dies and second brother want to take a revenge for him and kill the endangered beast.

The animation is 10 frames per second and it was drawn frame by frame on Illustrator. The color pallet varies from dark blue to light grey in order to represent wintertime. The animation was based on The Wolf by Guy de Maupassant and was modified to the artist’s cultural patterns. The artist changed wolf to a snow leopard as it is a symbol of Kazakhstan, horses on which initial characters hunt were changed to “UAZ” cars and house has an appearance of a national tent – “Yurta.”
