Mead Madness

Mead Madness
Fortenight Games #1
This is the first game we made with our unofficial game studio Fortenight Games, where we tried out different game concept on a fortnight. This is the first game I sat down with the Unity 3d game engine. The game is coded in mono, which is a open-source implementation of C#.

Mead Madness is an asymmetric two-player VS game in which two wizard apprentices battle it out to be the first to bring mead to their powerful master. However, if they get too caught up fighting and don’t get the mead to their master in time he will punish them both.

You can try it out here.
Since this is a game designed to be run in the Unity Web Player, we didn't need anything else than a play-button in the menu.
When a player has taken the mug of mead, it will spin around the player, making it hard to defend, and easier for the opposing player to steal.
The players battle their way to the bar, fetch the mug of mead and bring it to their master on the other side of the room. Watch out for the hole in the floor, seems like the floor gave away some time ago.
If the timer runs out, the Hand of Doom will deal out the appropriate punishment - unleashing a can of whoopass!
... which usually doesn't end all too well for one of the players...
