In 2017, I'm challenging myself in what I call the "Midnight Design Challenge". On nights when possible, I'll create team/player graphics with a deadline of midnight. It is meant as a way to practice while also exploring different techniques. Subject matter will lean heavily on Texas player/teams but I hope non-Texans can find something fun in these as well. With all that said, here... we... go...

April 28: I've fortunately been busy with freelance projects and haven't been able to do a midnight design challenge for a little while. But had to hop back on to congratulate one of my favorites on getting drafted by his hometown Houston Texans. Congratulations to D'Onta Foreman!
February 2: With Super Bowl LI coming to Houston, wanted to welcome home all of the Texas high school football alums that will be suiting up for the big game.
January 31: I really wanted to try out the 'click to reveal' Twitter graphic and Kawhi Leonard being named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week gave me the opportunity to do that with a team with a black & white color scheme. January 22: Texans and Cowboys seasons are over so on this NFL Conference Championship Sunday I am looking to next season. Tony Romo is likely out of Dallas and, football-wise, the best landing spot for him may be Houston. What better opportunity to try an infamous jersey swap?
January 18: One of my all-time favorite players, Jeff Bagwell, got elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame today. To commemorate the moment I made a quote graphic with words from his 15-year teammate and fellow hall-of-famer Craig Biggio. Congrats Baggy!
January 17: First graphic is a score graphic for the Texas Longhorns who defeated rival Oklahoma Sooners to go to 7-0 in Big 12 play, a best for the women's basketball team.
