At Foodlink, we partner with a local urban gardening group and I was asked to design a logo for them as they formalized their plans for their first conference. After a few rounds of back-and-forth, this is the logo we landed on for the Urban Agriculture Working Group - or, UAWG. It symbolizes growing local and local roots. The moss is shaped like the skyline of our city, Rochester, NY - the blank arc represents our iconic Frederick Douglass–Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge.
