NORD is an unicase font based on the Art Nouveau letters of Gregorio Muñoz at the train station in Valencia "L'Estació del Nord", in an attempt to expose this jewel of the valencian culture which is a big unknown for the public. It was a difficult process because most of the information about the author was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War.
Nord was my first font, made it for the Degree Project & supervised by Àngel Àlvarez. As my first attempt to make a typeface has many mistakes, maybe someday I will have time to recover and improve it.
