A Problem Solving project, we were prompted to explore surface texture using a basic shift dress, inspired by an animal, made from unconventional materials.
Inspired by the Spotted Lagoon Jelly, this shift is detailed with ruched plastic bags and wax paper, thread, pearl beads, and plastic vending capsules, hand painted to emphasize the transparency of the jellyfish and the movement of itself and the waters surrounding it.
