CD / LP Art and Design, Web Design, Tees For Corin Tucker Band's 'Kill My Blues'.
Neon pantone red made the package jump off the shelves; vinyl copies sold out twice before the record was even officially released!
Corin wanted the art to reflect 'cathartic joy, love, and relief'. She gave me a groovy towel to ruminate on. I named this design "Ecstatic Beach!" That lady is tearing a hole right through the planet.
My favorite description of the album art came from Jim Kiest: "It looks like the Go-Go’s “Vacation” as interpreted by Sex Pistols sleeve designer Jamie Reid. Punk Go-Go’s, by the way, is pretty much the record I’d like to hear from the former Sleater-Kinney force of nature." (mysanantonio.com)
This project was a total thrill; I feel lucky to have been involved and really hope to do more things like this in the future.

Here is my re-design for www.corintuckerband.com.
One is inspired by Corin's love of XANADU, the other is inspired by Elvis Presley's 'Taking Care of Business' Thunderbolt.
