Composite Calendar “New Generation”
The calendar includes 12 separate writing-pads. and producThe idea of a calendar is connected with a literary organization called “New Generation”, which existed between 1927-1930 and produced the eponymous magazine. Lives of members were difficult because of repressions.
Old book and magazine covers, artists- and poets-futurists became an inspiration for creation the calendars.
All found works were reinterpreted in order to find those symbols I could use to depict all of the members. Abstract art of early 20th century inspired me to interpret symbols and techniques in my own way.

Mechyslav Gasko.
Was imprisoned for 12 years, but continued writing and producing books after rehabilitation .
Ivan Malovichko.
He came to the "New Generation" magazine editorial office for the first time wearing a straw hat, which flew away through a window with the help of another poet.
Leonid Nedolia-Goncharenko.
He became famous because of revolutionary actions and his collection of essays about China and Chinese people`s life.
Leonid Skrypnyk.
He studied to be an engineer, but at the same time he is famous as a writer. He died of tuberculosis.
