We have been working with The Village Storytelling Centre to produce a book of stories written by the Hawkhill Estate community in the town of Alloa in Clackmannanshire.

The stories covered a wide area, ghost stories from the Youth Club, memories of Alloa in the 1970s (when it had prosperous mining and brewing industries), and modern life in the town, to name a few. With such a wide collection of subjects we needed a design to represent the whole community.

The finished design showcases Alloa’s rich history (Alloa Tower was constructed in 1368), as well as the future hopes and ambitions of the community’s young people.
