INTRO
During the summer of 2014 and the design of the 15th Season logo came a concept of the first true alternate logo of the
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Originally shelved for a later time it was resurrected for special nights such as

Breast Cancer Awareness, Military Appreciation nights as well as warm-up Jerseys.
A LITTLE OLD & A LITTLE NEW
The inspiration came from the 90's Vance Wright Adams "Pigeon Penguin". Every element in this alternate logo represents an owed to heritage, affiliation and location. The circle is a throwback to the original logo, the Penguin and eye pay homage to the 90's Pittsburgh logo, the Penguin's body, position and beak illustrated the connection between Western Pa
