Maiden of Finland
A school project to celebrate the centennial year of Finland.
Our assignment was to somehow include the Maiden on Finland in our poster and I decided to re-imagine the Maiden as the Finnish Lion, as the Finnish women are headstrong and know their worth. Lately there's also been public discussion in Finland about how Finnish men are scared of the women here, as they are too aggressive and vocal about their wants and needs.
I find that kind of talk amusing and wanted to reflect that on my poster as well.
