This demo reel isn't your regular 1-3 minute reel because it is a compilation. This reel is truly amazing. One thing about VFX that never fails to intrigue me is the invisible effects. The vfx shots that always blows me away are the most subtle changes. This reel captures that.

Other than the fact that this reel is basically focused on blood, I still enjoyed it nonetheless. In this reel, they put in the smallest details that you wouldn't believe were done after filming.

The vibe you get when you watch this reel instantly makes you want to finish the video. The shots in particular is what sells this demo reel. His shots look complicated but are done simply and effective.

My favourite reel at the moment has to go to Industrial Light & Magic's "The Force Awakens" reel. Of course, my favourite VFX company will be my #1 choice of my favourite demo reel. The editing in this demo reel is playful and fun. Usually, VFX reels never include music but the music ILM uses in this video suits so well. The way they incorporate sound effects with each linear wipe demonstrates the insane amount of hours that could have possibly gone into that shot.
