In this project we were required to design a poster that represents a powerful Muslim women in the field of science and technology. I selected Hurrem Sultan, the
wife of the Ottoman Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent. I illustrated a golden shield that symbolizes the glory and victory of the Ottoman Empire during that period. My design focused on the main achievements of the sultana. I illustrated items that represented each fieldsuch as, medical tools, a feather pen and book, and a mosque.
