Walmart sought out a design solution to replace the use of plastic bag. They are specifically looking for a new design to accommodate larger and heavy items. The task was to design an effective, environmentally friendly and inexpensive tool for consumers to transport purchases to their home. The Zip n' Go eliminates plastic bags completely. It is designed to accommodate both small to large items. The Zip n' Go is inexpensive to produce, made from recycled pp plastic, easy to use and has a comfortable handle. If the Zip n' Go were to be implemented, it would reduce carbon emissions by 80%.
