The Process of Cotton
This is a school project for my type 2 class complete in the spring of 2012. The subject matter is how the raw cotton plant is transformed into everyday items used by people all around the world. The layout is a simple circular pattern to separate the steps. To add interest I used varies hands to symbolize the steps of cotton. The hands can also be taken as a throw back to the history of cotton and has the process has transformed from being done all by hand to almost completely by machinery.  My main goal of the inforgragh was to draw in the audience and so they come closer and then read to learn more of the subject. This piece won 2nd place in the 2012 IPCC Poster Competition.
