Meet Cooreater
Cooreater is a product that can turn foods to music.
You can put it on the table or stick it on the wall. It can scan the foods on the table, turn different colours and textures of the foods to notes, and make a unique piece of music.

Design Opportunity
People always have some spare time when cooking and dining. Many people have the habit of listening to the music, watching TV, or chatting with other people during the cooking and dining time. So, we do need some “light” activities to make the cooking and dining’s atmosphere more interesting, and in the meantime, the “light” activities would not distract our attention.

App
First of all, we can use the basic function of this App to make music. And the highlight of this App is that we can add sound tracks just like adding the filters.
More over, this app gives the clients freedom to create new things. So we can dig its social value deeper. It has a function of Sharing Platform so that people can explore interesting things made by creators all over the world.

What was the inspiration behind the concept?
In daily life, many people like listening to music while working or cooking. When we are doing more than one things in the same time, we can bring ourselves more inspiration of thoughts and motivate the creativity. So I find a way to break the boundary between cooking and music creating.

Do you think your concept will change peoples’ lives?
It will perfect the atmosphere in the kitchen when we are cooking and dining. The simple and user friendly design make it possible that every person could be the creator and artist. It gives us a special user experience by mobilizing our multi-sensory. Besides, it will bring us a brand-new social mode and become a global cross-discipline sharing platform between original music creating and cooking. More fun will be made when we are having a family reunion or going out for a picnic.
