    TEDxChristchurch has gained a well-deserved reputation as a truly uplifting and thought-provoking event for passionate thinkers. Our creative challenge was to design for something very international while ensuring that the design made sense within the Christchurch cultural landscape. We based our design on the concept of an isometric cube–encouraging the audience to think about things from different angles – but also providing a simple and distinct visual device that could work across a range of collateral. We designed an onsite navigational system, with clear information that enabled 1200 people get their lunch served, eaten and disposed of within an hour. We also found memorable ways to link in key sponsors such as a coffee ‘Keep Cup’ that incorporated logos with enough TEDx graphic real estate to make the cup cool. The 2015 event was a sell-out show, and we have gone on to develop an ongoing creative partnership with TEDx. Read Less
