TASCHEN INSPIRATION
Concept for digital version of Taschen magazine for iPad
Brief
Design digital version of Taschen magazine for a new breed of multimedia Tablet Devices.
Solution
This project was created for the D&AD New Blood Awards and gained Yellow Pencil.
Solution
The main idea was to create technology that gives an opportunity to find inspiration.
The heart of app is a wheel that helps with finding interesting and inspiring articles and books. The search for publications is based on non standard parameters, such as emotional state of user or reflection of current World events in Tashen articles. Besides that, articles, user liked the most, could be added to the case. User can create cases to combine his own Inspiring Magazine and print it, make a selection of articles about topics he worked on, or just make a set for the next time. He can use his own content, such as photos, videos or audio files, to make his story of inspiration complete. User can send his case or any article he want to his friends or share his inspiration by using social networks.
