Growing up I've always struggled with putting my thoughts into words.
Words often work against me, veering me off my intended path: what I really mean to say.
In the few times I decide to speak, I lose confidence, fearing that I may have said something wrong or that my words aren't significant enough to be recognized. I constantly find myself at a loss for words, leading me into silence and a state of internal turmoil.
This piece is not only a visual representation of my struggle but also a call to move forward.
By translating these emotions into a tangible object, I'm put in a position where I can directly face my doubts, allowing me realize that I can no longer continue on this suppressive path. This piece also facilitates a time for healing, helping me regain confidence
and realize that I too have a voice.
