Abandoned Articles -

A few images from a series I am currently working on, photographing articles of clothing found in nature–usually in and or around lakes, streams, and rivers.

With the use of a hot shoe flash, I am examining and treating these objects as crime scenes, while also paying attention to color, texture, and decay. 

Currently drawing inspiration from 19th century photographers such as Weegee & looking for contemporary artists and work who/which address similar issues & aesthetics.
