Brighton Guest House
Lucho and Christine are the proud owners of Brighton Guest House, an eco-friendly 4* bed and breakfast in an excellent location in Brighton situated in the elegant Regency Square.
Brighton Guest House was awarded a highly commended 'Sustainable tourism' award in 2007 due to a such a strong focus on sustainability. Because of this, the aim of the project was to keep running an environmentally friendly Brighton hotel taking some more sustainable measures such as insulation, low-energy light fixtures, water-collection system, ecological paints and organic materials among others, being as 'green' as possible with no sacrifice whatsover to their guest's comfort, well-being, satisfaction and relaxation whilst staying at the Brighton House and to re-design the space in a modern Colonial style with a hint of History.
Lucho and Christine want their guests to feel at home and as comfortable and pleased as possible. They offer a variety of clean, comfortable and stylish single, twin and superior double rooms where visitors can relax in any Jacuzzi hot tub and switch off in the tranquil surroundings of their hotel room in between sampling the delights of the city.
They wished to knock some of the rooms through to make them larger and brighter. Because of the building is Grade 2 listed, any work carried out had to be checked out by the council.
The reception/breakfast room has been re-designed with sophisticated wallpaper, a blend of Regency and Colonial elements such as furniture, colour scheme and materials and a large table and a couple of benches with a separate reading area by the bay window where their guest can relax with a good book.
The key features of this project are natural fabrics and materials such as linens, cottons, bamboo and sisals as well as some traditional elements from Colonial and Regency style to achieve a 'green' and attractive interior.
The sensitively refurbished historic guest house combines modern hotel comforts with traditional features. Whether visitors come to Brighton for business or pleasure, for a short break or longer, Brighton House Hotel assures a delightful, warm and friendly stay.

Lucho y Christine son los propietarios de Brighton Guest House, un eco-sostenible bed and breakfast de 4* situado en la elegante Regency Square en Brighton (Inglaterra).
Brighton Guest House fue premiada en 2007 como Turismo Sostenible debido a su fuerte sostenibilidad. Debido a esto, el propósito de este projecto era seguir siendo un hotel con entorno medioambiental tomando medidas sostenibles como aislamiento, luces de bajo consumo, sistemas de recogida de agua de lluvia, pinturas ecológicas y materiales orgánicos entre otros, intentando ser lo más 'verde' posible sin sacrificar el confort, el bienestar, la satisfacción y la relajación de los huéspedes. Y re-diseñar un espacio en un estilo Colonial con un toque de historia.
Lucho y Christine quieren que sus invitado se sientan como en su hogar, lo más cómodos posible. Ofrecen una variedad de limplias, comodas y elegantes habitaciones donde los huéspedes pueden relajarse en el Jacuzzi y desconectar gracias al tranquilo área del hotel.
Ellos querían derribar algunos muros de las habitaciones single para hacerlas más grandes y luminosas.
La recepción/área de desayuno ha sido re-diseñada son sofisticado papel en las paredes, una mezcla del estilo Regency y elementos Coloniales tales como muebles, colores y materiales, así como una larga mesa de desayuno con bancos que separan el área de lectura donde los huéspedes se pueden relajar leyendo un buen libro.
Las claves de este projecto son el uso de telas orgánicas y materiales como el lino, algodón y bamboo también como elementos tradicionales de los estilos Colonial y Regency con el fin de conseguir un 'verde' y atractivo interior.
Esta casa de huéspedes combina el comfort de los hoteles modernos con características tradicionales. Brighton House Hotel asegura una encantadora, calida y amena estancia a aquellos que visitan Brighton ya sea por negocios o por placer.
