The basic idea of “monogramma” was to isolate six signed monograms of specific masterpieces hosted by the Rijksmuseum.
Each one of them became a subject of study and was treated with the requisite respect for both its historic and artistic value.
As a little piece of art by itself, it transformed into a rubber stamp mounted on solid walnut wood. Therefore, a stamp set was created, protected inside a box that also includes six info cards about each artist’s monogram.

Signing like a Master. Have the same name initials? Lucky you!
Is a rubber stamp an office tool or an art object?

It can have two faces, one serious and one recreational. It can have a practical use as a utilitarian tool, or can bear and produce an unlimited number of art works.
The injection of artistic and poetic meaning into this powerful bureaucratic weapon is a purposeful creative form of subversion.
Hence, the stamp becomes an expression of its creator's personality and individuality, carrying an entire artistic message. Some might object that buying a ready-made stamp is not art, but what is essential in this kind of craft is the way it is handled.
It matters the type and the color of the ink used, as well as whether the stamp imprint appears on a white paper, as a part of a drawing, or on another surface, each of them gives it a new meaning.<
