Identity design for Mulberry & Prince, a stylish new contemporary eatery in Cape Town’s bustling CBD.
Named after two streets in New York City, Mulberry & Prince is the brainchild of foodie friends, co-owners and chefs Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera, who met during their studies at The Culinary Institute of America. The restaurant’s inspiration is a fusion of South African and American. The design solution reveals a combination of modern and elegant design aesthetics in order to convey a sophisticated and contemporary look. Design elements incorporate copper foils, midnight blues, dusty pinks and luxurious textured paper to capture the refined chic personality of the restaurant.
The restaurant interior was conceptualised and created by by Atelier Interior Design Studio. All of the artwork featured in the restaurant was done by South African artist, Kurt Pio.
