scanned and turned into a 24" x 24" repeat on Adobe Illustrator
Using inspiration taken from nature, I created motifs and created a design that could be a repeat. The motifs were turned into 3D paper cutouts. Using a controlled light source, I experimented with different lighting to cast shadows with various tones.
