Illustration/textile installation
The following works are from the illustrated installation titled ‘SURROCODELIA.’ This artwork was an extremely labor intensive process and involved covering all four walls, a floor, and a ceiling with extremely detailed illustration prints. In total the original installation comprised of 60 unique panels, each depicting a different scene and each joining seamlessly together.
They were handrawn using ink, watercolour and oil paint, and assembled and printed digitally. The following images are cropped and scaled versions of the original panels of artwork.
Recently, Victoria was awarded the Sir William Dobell Foundation Award for Drawing in 2011, for the art and design installation titled ‘SURROCODELIA’, which she spent four months drawing every day to complete.
