Pallet Speaker
I’ve always been fascinated by great sound through speakers and headphones and it is the main feature, a speaker should have. good sound! The idea behind the project were to build a speaker with a sound that i like,
but also a speaker that fits the home environment. I thought that it should not only be a speaker but a part of the interior like an product or furniture.

Another object which is not intended for home interior is a pallet. My idea was to combine these objects and create an interesting speaker

All media will be played from portable devices such as MP3 players and mobile phones through a 3.5 mm input at the back.
There are only two controls available. The first one is on and off with volume control.
The second one on the right is controlling the amount of bass you want.
Building the speaker
I sawed off a pallet and took the piece with burnt marks to enhance the rough feeling that pallets have.
For the electronics to fit, I had to flatten the bottom with a milling machine so that the opening is a bit more than 100mm. For speakers i used two Sony 100mm each of 4,5W and 6 ohms.
The woofer is 80mm so that the controls will fit underneath
