Dodge City Distillery
Objective
The objective of this assignment was to re-design a menu suitable to the theme and
surroundings of the restaurant of our choice. I chose Dodge City Distillery;
theirtheme is Western American dining. The reason I chose this restaurant is
because of their unique western atmosphere and also excellent food.
Representation
Dodge City Distillery represents the history of how the wild west was conquered,
and also how Dodge City began by one single barrel of whiskey. Dodge City
Distillery wants to incorporate the word “Spirit” in everything they do. The menu
I designed captures the western spirit and warmth that is well known throughout
the world today with its warm colors and rustic western feeling. By making their
menu warmer makes it more personal and appealing to the customer.
Audience
The intended audience I designed towards is for customers seeking a taste of the
Wild West along with a unique dining experience. Each separate food menu
inside of the menu-jacket is made to give the customer the feeling of the west
and also an idea rustic lifestyle.
This project was assigned in a Layout Design class in Spring 2012.
