THIRD LEVEL EDUCATION
I have an Honours Degree in Visual Communicationsfrom the National College of Art & Design(2003)and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English & History of Art from University College Dublin(1998).
EXPERIENCE
I have been working in Dublin as a graphic designer since 2003. I work as a senior 'Lead Creative' in the Dublin office of Designbank MBD and also freelance in graphic design and illustration.
Designbankare probably the only Irish design agency that has developed and implemented major corporate branding programmes from logo development to roll out and implementation across thousands of pieces of communications both at home and abroad, often beating tough overseas competition for contracts. Clients include VHI, Irish Life, Failte Ireland, Anglo Irish Bank, Diageo and many more recognisable brands.
MBD’s expertise is in creative brand handling and activation with a unique experience in building creative teams around a brand to get the most out of the brand for the client. From creating an entire brand identity for new and exciting SMEs to specialising in creative support and BTL activation nationwide for some of the world’s best known brands (and everything in between) Marketing By Design has vast experience in building creative solutions for clients.
I love illustrating for children and have written and illustrated two picture books 'The Little Lost Cat's Big Adventure in Kilkenny' (2017) and 'Barney Goose' (2020), a Wild Atlantic Way Adventure.
