Art of Fadez is a barbershop located in the western suburbs of Chicago. They specialize hip and stylish cuts. The friendly and professional atmosphere keeps the clients coming back.
I created the original logo in 2007. The original logo was sketched on a napkin. I liked the initial design so much I based the vector design off of that original sketch. I later designed an alternate logo but always looked back to the original logo with nostalgia.
In 2014 I was contracted to update the Art of Fadez logo. Instead of looking at other designs for inspiration, I decided to look back into the past. I began by expanding the skull and fixing the curves and angles. I then added clippers and recreated the cross bones. I completed the design by adding detailing lines.
The new logo was well received, the client was happy and I was proud of my work. Onto the next one.
