FRIENDS OF THE YAMPA

I teamed up with Friends of the Yampa to design their NEW logo. Friends of the Yampa's mission is to protect and enhance the river's environmental and recreational integrity through stewardship, advocacy, education and partnerships. We wanted the logo to be simple but eye catching to make people look twice. The design needed to work for both men and women, through gender specific color schemes and iconography. A satellite image of the Yampa River is what made the logo come to life but still keeps the originality and simplicity of the river flowing naturally.
