Chronic Disease: Hypertension and Diabetes – Educational Flip Cards
Educational visual aids designed for Community Health Workers in Haiti to use with patients in the community for education on the signs, symptoms, and treatment of Hypertension and Diabetes. A health worker would display the illustrated side to the patient while reading key health notes from the other side. Created for low literacy audiences in Haitian Creole (and English for funders). The cards were printed front and back, laminated and secured with a ring that allows community health workers to easily flip the pages and keep them in tact when traveling from house to house.
