Bank of America acquired LaSalle Global Trust Services (LGTS) through its purchase of LaSalle Bank. Although LGTS was originally slated to receive a completely new and distinct identity, Brand ultimately determined that its look and feel should roll up to the rest of the bank’s corporate and commercial enterprises.
Provided with a nameplate in Franklin Gothic Demi Condensed in the bank’s signature Cool Gray 11, I was tasked with creating basic logo usage guidelines and a complementary color palette, and to use both to rebrand collateral.
The guidelines were used for less than a year, until LGTS was absorbed into Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
