LAM ACTION
CHRISTMAS CARDS
We were given the task to create a Christmas card design for the charity LAM Action. LAM is a rare disorder that occurs almost exclusively in women and is generally diagnosed in women of childbearing age. LAM mainly affects the lungs, where an abnormal type of cell (called a LAM cell) builds up.
I was inspired by lung scans of patients with LAM lung disease and how they resembled marbling. I was also interested in creating simple cropped/close up illustrations of Christmas characters.
