Omius® is a technology-based company expert in small mechanisms integrated to textiles. This company develops soft robotics and artificial intelligence that can be applied to any product belonging to the textile industry, for example: sports clothing (jackets, shoes, gloves), as well as textile materials in large dimensions (tents, ceilings, etc).

Omius® created a smart jacket that is capable of adapting its thermal protection to the user’s needs. When the human body starts getting too hot, small vents at the warmest regions of the torso will open, creating a freer path for hot and humid air to exit the body. Artificial Intelligence inside the jacket, will learn about the user’s body type and control the vents automatically; predicting discomfort way before it happens. Omius® team has a wide range of professionals trained in physics, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence, which enable them to create the most advanced temperature regulating technology seen applied on a high-quality jacket.

Omius® es una empresa de tecnología experta en pequeños mecanismos integrados a textil. Esta empresa desarrolla robótica suave e inteligencia artificial que se aplica a cualquier producto perteneciente de la industria textil, como por ejemplo: ropa deportiva (chamarras, calzado, guantes) además de textiles de grandes dimensiones (techos, tiendas de campaña, etc).

Omius® desarrolló una chaqueta inteligente capaz de variar su protección térmica para adaptarla a las necesidades del usuario. Esta chaqueta cuenta con pequeñas aberturas ubicadas en los lugares más calientes del cuerpo, que se abren para ayudar al usuario a liberar el exceso de calor. Con la tecnología Omius®, el textil se transforma en un producto inteligente capaz de adaptar sus propiedades para brindar confort térmico (temperatura equivalente donde una persona se siente cómoda) y performance (una cualidad que facilita un logro).
