Revamp of Universal Music Brasil official website, using WordPress as CMS, including news section and individual pages for artists.
The new Universal Music Brasil's website was conceived to work as a hub of their latest news and artist listing. The project was divided into three main steps: research, development and launching.
In the former one, I looked for visual references as well I organised the information architecture, wireframes and decided the best approaches. In the development step, I started the layout designing and the coding (HTML, CSS, jQuery scripts and WordPress). In the last step, I uploaded the theme to the server, polished the content and made the last amendments with the company's team.
The client asked for a minimal, but impactful and unique design easy to navigate and fast loading. Because the company focuses on their own releases and artists, the visual should be neutral and shouldn't stand out more than the products.
Some new features were added to the WordPress to customise the control panel and make it easier to update and maintain the website.
