Analytical Dashboard

Graphical representations is always better than reading a 100 pages pdf. The best way to showcase a large amount of data through years is by creating a dashboard. A business intelligence dashboard is a data visualization tool that displays the current status of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for an enterprise. Dashboards consolidate and arrange numbers, metrics and sometimes performance scorecards on a single screen.
Objective
To make an interactive platform to introspect the production and financial aspects of WCL organization throughout the years.

              This procedure involved collecting the data throughout the years from different departments of WCL which were to be operated upon for generating fact tables, dimension tables and reports.
Analyzing the demand of End User
              Being in constant contact with the WCL officials for the changes and the design portion using MicroStrategy tool and changes were made according to their requirements from time to time.
Creation of Dashboard
               Formulating mockups and final dashboard for single user interface showing summarized and precise analysis using panels, grids, graphs, pie-charts etc.

MicroStrategy is an enterprise business intelligence (BI) application software vendor. It has many functions to make the dashboard visually appealing like pie chart, bar graph, heat map etc. This platform uses a single common metadata for consistency and streamlined maintenance.
