Process of Image Pollution Filter °5 - Guggenheim, Bilbao, Spain

When I visited the locations of some images I found on social media I also took the same pictures as they did to put myself in their perspective. While reenacting these pictures I suddenly realized that the one thing missing was the one thing I couldn't see myself when taking a picture. The tile we stand on. This tile creates a border which can be seen as an exact location from where we look at these monuments and locations. Because of the contrast created by seeing only either the tile our the location / monument, it was the most powerful layer I could add to the process of touristic photography.

The tile becomes a filter that erases everything we have already seen, leaving only that which can't be seen.
