For this school projekt I had to design and and layout the Danish book 'Mado' by the author Hanne Højgaard Viemose. The word 'mado' means mother and the book is about a woman who has an abortion and her messy and rough life.
I choose to work with the red thread as a metafor in many different ways. It is used both on the books cover but also as a repeated element throughout the book; on all the chapter pages and the red colour in the images in the books middel.
Transparency is also something I worked with for this projekt by using see through paper and different layers of printing.
