Challenge: Design a logo based off of thumbnail.
Solution: The client, Tyler DeMarco, of Walnut Hill Exotics offered a thumbnail of what he was looking for. A stock photo of a walnut tree was used as reference and the branches that were out of place were omitted. The sunset/sunrise was created by creating three rays, copying them, merging them together, and using a gradient. The hill rests on the “Exotics”, which provides a steady base.
