In 2016, we had Paul Boyd, a former Inside Edition reporter join our team of investigative journalists. His news beat would have more of a corporate accountability focus and we wanted to promote his franchise in a way that would reflect his direction. I had the idea of shooting scenes in Uptown Charlotte that would show the "pulse of the city" and how corporate corruption could be happening in plain sight. I shot time lapses of many busy Uptown locations including Trade & Tryon, the light rail, and even some city skyline shots from on top of the Hyatt House hotel. In addition to storyboarding, shooting and editing this campaign, I created a new graphics package for the Whistleblower 9 franchise as well that could easily be used in daily promotions for Paul's stories.
