Aotearoa Hip Hop Spectrum Article Photography
Photographs taken from an article I wrote for The Big Fresh Collective back in April of 2016 documenting our favourite 15 New Zealand Hip Hop Tracks of the year so far.
"Recently back in March I headed along to the Spectrum Display that’s been happening annually the past couple of years at the YMCA Centre in the middle of Ōtautahi City. The event is put on by Oi You! Street Art; A Community organization bringing some of the finest Graffiti & Street Artists from around New Zealand & The World to Christchurch to redecorate out broken city with beautiful colourful murals and displays of all shapes and sizes that can be found all over.
After buzzing at how cool it was to see something of this caliber in my own city, having a few chop cones & going through all the fresh photos I grabbed when I was there, it gave me an idea; In the true spirit of The Elements of Hip Hop – I should create an article supporting the Brothers & Sisters putting in Mahi across our country Aotearoa, covering my own personal Top Fifteen NZ Hip Hop Tracks for 2016 so far."
