Weave Youth & Community Services Presentation

About Weave
Weave Youth and Community Services provides a range of services to socially excluded young people, women, children and families in the heart of Sydney. A large proportion (66%) of people who access our services are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.  Their Head Office is based in the Redfern/Waterloo area located next to the Skate Park at Waterloo Oval.

Weave (formerly South Sydney Youth Services) was established in 1976 by a group of local parents who were concerned about the welfare of children on the street late at night. It is governed by a Board and managed by a team of professionals. They are a registered not for profit organisation which has been incorporated as an association since 1993.

Design Brief
Create a PDF document that will attract potential investors. A combination of pictures and infographics were used to communicate the figures and stats in a more emotional way. The project also required creation and use of design elements and colours that relate to the Indigenous background and Aboriginal flag.

Presentation Objective
To gain investment for the Kool Kids Club for indigenous children as funding ends in December 2017 from the government. Funding from Randwick council also ends in June 2017.
