Book design for Raf Simons

This book design is for the men’s wear brand by Raf Simons. Extracted from Raf Simons’s inspiration of design,
the element of music is visualized and its relation with the clothes is especially emphasized on.
Raf Simons’ music inspiration is influenced by the youth culture, which is mainly rock and roll or indie music.
For this reason, I adopted a method to analysis the characteristics of music instrument and work out an independent visualized music language.
I tried to focus on the relationship between clothes and music by setting different combination modes and music variables,
associating with clothing pattern and hiding the faces of models.
